The other day I prepared my practical course (or piscine) “An Introduction into SQL” based on the PostgeSQL RDBMS for students of programming “School 21” with the support of Sber corporation. This course is intended for beginner Data Engineers, Performance Data Engineers and partially for DataOps. “School 21” trains a new generation of developers, for whom the process of group learning, getting personal knowledge and the future profession are important.
I really hope that after completing my course, which is built on the basis of my extensive experience of working with different RDBMS in production systems, future Data Engineers will know the aspects of working with SQL, database versioning and benchmarks tests
and at least they will not apply the next command “ALTER TABLE user …” for huge table “user” in the real production systems . 🙂
